Origin Story
Ron Musser was an HVAC contractor being bombarded by shiny objects and conflicting advice from every angle. He was ready for a change.
Don Lafferty was an experienced traditional marketing professional on the leading edge of the emerging digital and social media space, but he was on his own and struggling to scale his business.
When Mike Gospadarek introduced them, Comfort Media Group was born; a digital marketing company with an intimate understanding of the challenges of HVAC contractors, focused completely on the goals of HVAC contractors,
Now, through collaborative partnerships with Mitsubishi Electric, Carrier, The Unico System and a number of HVAC equipment distributors, Comfort Media has grown to become the digital market partner for contractors targeting aggressive growth.

Don Lafferty Sr.
Don spent over 20 years as a sales and marketing executive in the high tech manufacturing space before becoming a leader in the emerging digital and social media space back in 2005.
When Ron Musser hired Don to help ECI Comfort with Facebook advertising, they knew they were onto something big.
He continues to lead in the digital marketing space focusing on the unique challenges of HVAC contractors nationwide.

After spending almost 30 years in the HVAC and home heating oil business, Ron founded Comfort Media group with Don Lafferty and Mike Gospadarek in 2012 with the goal of making effective, common-sense digital marketing accessible to other HVAC contractors.
He is CMG’s subject matter expert and speaks at industry events nationwide, showing other HVAC contractors what he’s learned in the digital marketing trenches.
